The sensor has a 180-degree field of view (900 sq ft major motion \u0026amp; 400 sq ft minor motion coverage) and is covered with a tamper resistant lens. It can be used to meet many of the Title 20\/24, ASHRAE 90.1, and IECC code requirements such as “automatic shutoff”. This Lutron Maestro Dual-Tech Motion Sensor features Dual Sensing Technology (PIR and ultrasonic) which detects very fine motion, such as typing at a desk or reading, ensuring lights do not turn off inadvertently. Lutron Maestro Sensors have an adjustable timeout (1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes), to control how long the lights stay on after leaving the room. Lutron’s, patent pending, adaptive zero-cross switching algorithm extends and maximizes the relay’s life by switching at the point of minimum energy on the AC power curve. It’s also equipped with smart ambient light detection (ALD), you to customize your sensor to detect daylight, so lights don't turn on when there is enough natural light in your room. Easy to read programming buttons are directly on the sensor switch. Available in 10+ colors.
